Time: Friday, 12:00 a.m. Three weeks and two days after the half year mark. Location: Downtown Gotham, Apartment complex, Room 37, Spencer Gibbs's apartment room Weather: Cloudy with a little rain
Spencer sighed as he sat at his desk within his apartment. How much longer? How much longer would they do this to him? At this rate, he really doubted his sister would wake up. The thought of that alone was already tearing his nerves apart considering he already lost his parents at a young age. A frustrated sigh left him as he sat there. Why? His sister was smart, she was a good person so why? Why did she throw it all away?
Hearing the sound of his phone going off on vibrate, he knew who it was. Couldn't he just have one day to himself? One day to try and get out of his writer's block or at least try to live like a normal civilian who wasn't being forced to help a criminal organization? The phone kept going off on vibrate until Spencer grabbed it and threw it across the room. It hit the wall with a thud but it didn't break, he didn't throw it hard enough to break it as it landed on the bed. He put his hands against his head and ran his fingers through his wavy hair. Why? It was the middle of the night!!!!

"He's not answering."
John and Quincy skulked in the alley just across the street from the apartment, invisible if not for the cold blue light of the cellphone display and the occasionally glowing cigarette buds. They were both wearing long coats and fedoras, just enough to cover for the light rain. They knew he was home from the light in his window. One of them turned his head and scuffled inquisitively at the other; "Then what?"
"Well, the boss was very clear on the subject, right?"
---
About two minutes later the two men walked up the stairs and turned towards one of the several doors in the complex. 'Spencer Gibbs' it said on the nameplate. John knocked on the door gently a couple of times while Quincy started putting on leather gloves. None of them said a word.

He just wanted to be left alone for a day or a night. But it seemed he couldn't have that no? The knocking on his door proved that to him. Making his hands into fists, one would think he was ready to just pull most of his hair out due to his frustration. Slamming his fists down on the table without pulling any hairs out, he stood up and went over to the door. Looking through the peep hole, he could see the two goons and he opened the door. Not very happy.
"I have a job that lasts throughout a good deal of the morning and day, I've gone seven years without a break, and it's stupid midnight right now!" Spencer started. "For one night or at least a portion of it, I need a break! I'm sure your boss can do super well without my so called expertize. Now please, leave me alone."

Quincy shoved his way past him into the small apartment. "Now now Mr. Gibbs, don't be like that. You know there ain't no rest for the wicked." With his hands folded behind his back he began walking around the place, inspecting everything like it was a fascinating museum. "We need your help, and you're gonna help us like always." He stopped and looked over his shoulder at Spencer with a slick grin. "You sister is still in a coma, yes? What a shame. Such a pretty thing, would hate is something happened to her." On queue, John cracked his knuckles loudly. He prided himself on being Mr. Obvious.
Quincy was at it again. "It's perfectly simple. A lot of shit is going down in this city, and we want to make absolutely sure that there's no interference from other troublesome elements. In particular, the GPD. Our folks on the inside are hardly trustworthy at the time being, and we need you to go sniff up some info. Find out what they know, and if they're gonna act on it. You're good at this, Spencer. We know you are."

Again his sister was brought up into this. It's not like Spencer was willingly one of the wicked, he was forced into it. He stayed silent as he stood there and the sound of the cracking knuckles. He glared at John and the look showed that it wasn't wise to be Mr. Obvious at the moment. Despite being a skinny thing, Spencer could somehow give off a menacing glance when he wanted.
"And what makes you think I can sneak into GPD and get them to tell me anything? I don't exactly have a cop's uniform or badge in my closet." Spencer said as he made the glare go away and he looked at Quincy.
