Name: Alexis Olivia Foster
Code Name: The Eyes
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Birth Date: 15. February
Affiliation: Neutral
Occupation: Private Investigator for the research initiative “The Machine”
Age Looks: Mid-to-late-twenties.
Appearance:
Alexis Foster is a relatively attractive woman, to use her own words. She has long, wavy and light brown hair, often groomed in a bun for practical reasons. She has a lean build, and she is white. Most noticeable are her eyes, which are an almost glowing emerald green. She is 1,65 meters and weighs about 66 kg. Her breasts are of average size and her hips fairly wide. She looks all in all, just above average what beauty concerns. When it comes to clothing, she dresses very accordingly to the situation. But she fancies, most of all, practical but average clothing, to better blend in with the crowd. Jeans and jumpers a go, and dresses and skirts are no. She fancies autummn colours and the typical black and white, and she is very fond of scarves.
Personality:
Alexis Foster is a woman of action, a woman of adventure. She likes taking risks and she does things in the spur of the moment. She likes to be in charge, and she likes to talk a lot, but only when it's needed. She is nosy and has interest in what everyone else is doing. If you were to say something extreme about Alexis, it would be that she is somewhat of an adrenalin junkie. She tends to look at things objectively and is not nuanced by emotion. She is lazy in the best sense, she only does things once. She feels very much at ease in large crowds of people, and she loves getting to know new people. She is not what you would call a routined person, she does things as she wants them, when she wants them. And if she wants a day off, she'll bloody take it.
Family:
Charles Foster, 57, father
Diane Foster, 54, mother
Imogen Foster 16, little sister.
Background:
Alexis foster was born in Gotham City twenty-seven years ago to Linda Foster and Charles Foster. Charles worked as a doctor of general medicine at the of his daughter’s birth, but has since retreated to study the properties of cancer cells. Linda worked as a finance consultant in one of Gotham’s many CityBanks, but has not been employed since her maternity leave.
The first years of Alexis’ life were spent in solitude. She was always the odd one out, and never had anyone to play with, so she was alway happy to return home after having been to the kindergarten. She didn’t play with dolls, and she couldn’t sit still, she saw herself as “one of the boys”, but they would never play with her because she was a girl “with icky girl lice”.
She had a close relationship with her father’s brother David, whom she would often visit in the weekends. They would play with cars and go for car rides. He was always rather wild with her, and she suspects today, that he might be the primary reason for her rash behaviour. He died of bone cancer when she was twelve, which is the reason her father began to study cancer.
She started primary school at the age of five and got horrible grades later in her school life. Simply because she didn’t want to be there, she wanted to be outside, playing. She often ended up in fights with the boys from the higher grades, and she literally beat them up any chance she got, which then resulted in many suspensions from school, and eventually she was thrown out. She changed schools to a private institution in grade six, where her behavioural problems were taken care of and she began getting higher grades in school, when she found out that the stuff she was supposed to be learning was actually interesting. Her favourite subjects were Societal Studies, Physics and Chemistry and Engish. Her least favourite subjects were History, Geography and Spanish.
As soon as she graduated, she went on to college. And she knew exactly what she wanted to major in. It had to be journalism. She had always been fascinated by writing, but something about fiction never appealed to her. She moved out of her childhood home and into a commune, where she lived with two friends from college. Liv Taylor and Kristina Carson. They had their arguments, but it was never a real issue. Here she also got her first boyfriend. His name was Liam Parker, but the relationship lasted only two months. The break-up was awful, as Alexis had while drunk, had sex with another man. She insisted that she didn’t do it on purpose, but Liam wouldn’t listen, she felt. They don’t talk anymore.
At the age of twenty-two she became engaged in political activism. She befriended a lot of punks and squatters, and became interested in radical leftism. She had always thought that the American system was out of control and she really hated the government for what it had done to the American people. She was quickly approached by someone you could call an “alpha-punk”, when he learned that she was studying to become a journalist and that she was a kind of adrenalin junkie. He asked if she wanted some hands-on experience, and she thanked yes. She was to be a reporter for the research initiative “The Machine” and report about all the chaotic crime in Gotham. She was thrilled about the offer, and went to work immediately. Now she is where she is, reporting about the crime of Gotham, executed by so-called “villians”, like the ones in comics.

This was going to be the most dangerous day ever. Tomorrow and the day after that were going to be fine, but especially this day was going to be dangerous. Because today she was to go on her first infiltration mission. The name was Alexis Foster and she was really a go-getter. She was to infiltrate some fascist headquarters befriend the people there and then expose them to the media. This was going to take months. Even years. She was ready.
For today she had donned a white shirt and some conservative jeans. But she wore a push-up bra to make the extra impression. She had e-mailed them beforehand and asked to join their meetings and they had told her to show up today. Today, she thought, was going to be damn great. She could feel the blood rushing in her veins as she walked from the bus and to the little apartment building where the meeting was to be held. She rang the doorbell. A Mr David Fisher.
“Hello, it’s Caitlin.” she said. Caitlin was something she wanted to name her daughter i she had one, so she thought it ideal for an undercover name. Buttons were pressed and doors opened. She walked up the stairway and found the door open, and the others waiting for her.
