The Thin White Duke of Death, The Harlequin of Hate, The Ace of Knaves,
The Mirthful Menace, and many more
Gender:
Male
Age:
34
Birth Date:
N/A
Affiliation:
Villain
Age Looks:
35-ish
Appearance:
The Joker is a 6 feet tall, 160 lbs (around 73 kg), lean, almost lanky man. His hair is more or less short with a dark green hue, his eyes the same color. Joker’s skin is chalk white and his face almost always smiling, his lips a blood red colour. His chin is very sharp and nearly pointy, his whole body looks like that of a man who gets moderate, but regular exercise.
The Joker nearly always wears his trademark purple tuxedo, orange west and orange shirt. Most of the time the Joker will wear a pair of white gloves and a flower in his breast pocket. He also owns a cane, which of course is rigged with lot’s of joyous “toys”. Joker is always able to change into nearly any disguise he wishes, which he often does.
Personality:
The Joker's insanity appears to most as a strange mixture of violently aggressive psychopathy, nihilism, and fixated narcissism. He has frequently proven to have no regard for human life, and treats the pain and suffering of others as personal sport, making Joker a truly sadistic and masochistic individual who revels in pain and suffering, others as well as his own.
While frequent attempts have been made to pin down or classify the Joker's 'insanity', none have been consistently proven successful. This in turn have resulted in most people who are not doctors at Arkham, as well as some doctors at Arkham, to brand The Joker as simply insane in the most basic meaning of the word.
Every attempt to cure him has proven completely fruitless as well, since the Joker actively and energetically resists separation from his madness. He spends just as much of his time in Arkham Asylum, which is a somewhat inadequate facility that he and other inmates have come to view as sort of a home, as he does free. Much to the horror of the citizens of Gotham.
The Joker appears to be able to escape from almost at will, and does so very frequently. It is rumoured that he knows more about Arkham Asylum and it's many secrets than any other inmate, and most doctors. He treats the Asylum like a resting place, to go in between his criminal exploits. It has been hypothesized by Arkham psychologists, that the Joker actually exists in a state of almost "super-sanity". That he actually redefines his own personality every day, which explains why sometimes he appears as a horribly sadistic lunatic, and others as a simple mischievous clown.
As earlier explained, The Joker doesn’t feel anything really positive for anyone, not even his own Hench-girl Harley Quinn, even though he will act like it, playing with her and anyone else's emotions like a used violin.
Family:
The Joker is rumoured to have had a daughter and wife at some point,
but like everything else about the Clown prince of crime, nothing is certain.
Background:
Powers/abilities:
The Joker possesses no known superhuman powers.
Though some state he has adapted certain beyond average endurances due to his original chemical submergence.

Background Info
Family:
The Joker is rumoured to have had a daughter and wife at some point,
but like everything else about the Clown prince of crime, nothing is certain.
Background:
Though many stories have been told, a definitive history of the Joker's origin has never been established and his true name has never been confirmed.
The most widely cited origin depicts him as originally being an engineer at a chemical plant who quit his job to pursue his dream of being a stand-up comedian, only to fail miserably. Desperate to support his pregnant wife,
the man agreed to help two criminals break into the plant where he was formerly employed. In this version of the story,
the Red Hood persona was given to the inside man of every job (thus it was never the same man twice);
this made the inside man appear to be the leader, allowing the two ring-leaders to escape every time.
During the planning stage of the break in,
Gotham PD contacted the man and informed him that his wife and unborn child had died in a household accident involving a machine to warm nursing bottles.
Stricken with grief, he attempted to back out of the plan, but the criminals strong-armed him into keeping his promise.
As soon as they entered the plant however, they were immediately caught by security and a fatal shoot-out ensued, in which the two criminals was killed.
As he tried to escape, Batman who was investigating the disturbances confronted him.
Terrified, the engineer leaped over a rail and plummets into the river where the rest chemicals was dumped into. When he surfaced
on the nearby shore, he removed the hood and saw his reflection: bleached chalk-white skin, ruby-red lips, and green hair.
These events, coupled with his other misfortunes that day,
drove the engineer insane resulting in the birth of the Joker.
Another version of the story supports parts of the version of the Joker's origin most widely cited.
In it, a witness recounted that the Joker's wife was kidnapped and murdered by the criminals in order to force the engineer into performing the crime.
In this version, the Joker was called Jack.
Yet another version tells the story of the Joker as a gifted criminal who donned the Red Hood identity,
also called Jack, who was nearly suicidal due to boredom with his "job".
He talked to a waitress, who convinced him to find something to live for.
Jack became obsessed with Batman after he broke up one of his jobs, leading Jack to attract Batman's attention at a ball.
Jack injured the then date of the famous playboy, Bruce Wayne, who was absent that night, leading Batman to disfiguring his face with a batarang.
Jack escaped and Batman gave Jack's information to mobsters, who tortured Jack in a chemical plant.
Jack killed several of his assailants after escaping, but fell into an empty vat as wild gunfire punctured the chemical tanks above him,
and the resultant flood of antidepressant chemicals altered his appearance to that of a clown,
completing his transformation into the Joker.
No recounting of the Joker's origin has been definitive however,
as The Joker has been known to lie so often about his former life that he himself is confused as to what actually happened.
As he said to Batman once "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!"

Abilities
Powers/abilities:
The Joker possesses no known superhuman powers.
Though some state he has adapted certain beyond average endurances due to his original chemical submergence.
The following are such noted enhancements:
- Pain Resistance: It is speculated that the Joker's exposure to chemicals may have heightened his resistance to pain. It is also implied that he is masochistic in nature and thus enjoys any pain received, making it an ineffective way of dealing with him.
- Tainted Blood: Joker's blood is tainted. It has been said by doctors at Arkham that "Being an avid consumer of his products, Joker's immunity to poisons has been built up over years of dedicated abuse." When a mosquito was once filmed sucking the Joker's blood, it "writhed and twitched as it died, smoke emitting from the corpse"
- Joker Venom Immunity: The Joker is immune to his venom.
- Enhanced Intellect: Due to his chemical submergence the Joker is quite a bit more intelligent than the average human, yet his insanity still conquers all.
- Cheating Death: The Joker has cheated death numerous times, even in seemingly inescapable and lethal situations. He has been, among other things, caught in explosions, electrocuted, shot repeatedly (including point-blank in the face by a corrupt police officer masquerading as Batman), and dropped from great heights, but he always returns to once again wreak havoc.
- "Fourth wall awareness": The Joker has, at times, shown to be fully aware of being a fictional character, even directly addressing the reader. However, most people ignore this, due to the fact that he is criminally insane.
Equipment:
Joker uses many different deadly devices in his criminal exploits.
Joker Venom: a deadly poison that infects his victims with a ghoulish grin as they die while laughing uncontrollably.
This venom comes in many forms, from gas to darts to liquid poison, and has been his primary calling card from his first appearance.
Weapons:
Razor-sharp playing cards, acid flower, knives of all kinds,
Joker Venom - a compound consisting of strychnine and household chemicals the Joker can re-create at will,
various guns and other weaponry. The Joker is unpredictable in that he will use any kind of weapon afforded him.
Joker's joy buzzer:
The Joker often used a modified novelty joy buzzer strapped to the palm of his hand.
The buzzer administer a lethal dose of electricity into anyone who comes into contact with it.
Strengths:
- Inventive Skill: The Joker commits crimes with countless "comedic" weapons (such as razor-sharp playing cards, acid-spewing flowers, cyanide pies, and lethally electric joy buzzers) and Joker venom, all created by the Joker himself.
- Genius-level Intellect: The Joker is also very skilled in the fields of chemistry, genetics, and nuclear engineering. He also seems capable of mastering whatever he puts his twisted mind to when he wants to.
- Skilled Combatant: Although he usually pales in comparison to fighters like those of the Batman Family, the Joker has frequently proven himself to be an excellent hand-to-hand combatant. While apparently of a frail body, his ability to withstand seemingly any amount of pain, combined with his sometimes almost athletic abilities and the agility granted him by his insanity and willpower makes him a fearsome physical foe. He fights nearly completely unpredictably, and always has tricks up his sleeves for if he's losing. However, Batman and his allies often seem to be able to put him down with a single punch... but it is unclear whether or not he is simply allowing this to happen, as there are times where he is shown as being able to hold his own in hand-to-hand combat even against the Batman Family (including Batman himself).
Strength level:
Joker possess the strength level of an average human male who engages in regular moderate exercise,
though has at times due to adrenaline surges surpassed his normal levels.
Weaknesses:
Besides the obvious weaknesses of a normal, mortal man, one of the Joker's biggest weaknesses is also one of his greater strengths, his insanity. More times than not, the Joker's demented mind will bring him in situations where logic states retreat might be a good idea, but he may very likely not. Another great weakness of Joker's is his incredible narcissism, which have brought his downfall more than once.
Affiliation:
Villain

Sample RP:
It was a nice day, the sun was shining, not a gust of wind and birds were tweeting in the trees behind the beach.
It was a good day all in all, and Remy had to admit, he enjoyed this.
The quiet, the nature, it was nice, peaceful, and he had found quite a good spot to bring girls when he got some on the hook.
Perhaps that cutie with the red hair he had seen in Mr Summers class?
Or one of the other cuties he had seen? Luckily there was a lot of possibilities at this School.
Remy then focused at the task at hand, his daily morning exercise. The young mutant was wearing a pair of tight jeans as his only clothing,
the rest in a pile at the boathouse. He grinned a bit as he walked out on the bridge, starting his training routine,
his crimson hues looking around once before he began. Once could easily wonder what he was doing out here on a Saturday,
even if they knew he liked to train.
The answer, was surprisingly simply. Remy liked the sound of waves hitting the beach and the sounds of nature around him,
It gave a kind of peace and allowed him to focus on his training.
44 minutes later.
Remy was sweating now, his lips a line as his muscles stood clearly against his skin.
He was standing on his hands, feet straight in the air as he did push-ups, keeping his balance at the same time.
It was rough training, but Remy had learned from an early age that it was necessary to keep your body in a prime condition,
otherwise, how would you perform the most incredible of heists? At least that had been the mentality in the thieves guild.
Now it was just a part of him, to do this exercise each and every morning.
That and the body he got from his training was apparently having a good effect on a lot of the girls and women he met.
And, it enabled him to handle himself in a fight, which was also a plus.
However, this particular exercise was rather hard,
and thus, Remy didn't really hear anything around him other than his heart beating and his steady breathing.
